As Dreamville Weekend begins in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, J. Cole releases yet another freebie for the fans, rightly named, “Visionz Of Home.” With a precise flow, and a level of lyricism untouchable by most, it’s seems that this roc nation affiliate can do no wrong.
I’ve always been a fan of producers who can take a classic rock song and give it a new age electro feel. When it’s done right, the result is often nothing short of incredible. In this case Sound Remedy gets it right, showing his ability to sample a classic track without losing it’s roots.
Based out of Houston, TX, up-and-coming producer Feature Cuts shows his ability to take a track that is remixed constantly, and still make it his own. A great dub step track that doesn’t go over the top with womps. Enjoy!
Great new electro track from producer Main Focus, whose sound is very reminiscent of Pretty Lights. He is usually known for his remixes, but decided to show off his own creativity and talent by putting together this original track entitled, “Circles.” Enjoy!
I know how everyone complains about how many remixes there are to Avicii’s “Levels,” and I agree, but this isn’t technically a remix. George Monev, a producer from Melbourne takes “Levels” and puts it in reverse, giving it a brand new feel. A pretty unique idea if you ask me, give it a listen..
Feel Real Swag has been working with Jabari Kiongozi (JK) since the beginning, and today we bring to you his highly anticipated project, The False Start. This dope new mixtape is a collection of tracks Jabari has recorded (and some released) in the past year. Each track stands on it’s own, but together they tell the story of JK’s development as an artist over that time. This mixtape has something for everyone with Jabari jumping on everything from Zeds Dead to the James Bond-esque sounds of Audiodoctor. The final track is producer by HunkE, whom he plans to work with more in the near future. By being relentless, versatile, and striving to always improve as an emcee, JK has shown that he has what it takes to make it in this industry. As always, FRS is proud to sponsor and support this young artist on his grind, so make sure to do the same by downloading his new project. Enjoy!
Grynch’s latest track, “I’m Good” will appear on his upcoming album Perspective, dropping March 2nd. Like several other of his tracks, he recruits his good friend and fellow Seatlle emcee, Sol. Give it a listen..
