I’ve always been a fan of producers who can take a classic rock song and give it a new age electro feel. When it’s done right, the result is often nothing short of incredible. In this case Sound Remedy gets it right, showing his ability to sample a classic track without losing it’s roots.
Great new electro track from producer Main Focus, whose sound is very reminiscent of Pretty Lights. He is usually known for his remixes, but decided to show off his own creativity and talent by putting together this original track entitled, “Circles.” Enjoy!
Check out this great remix of The Kooks’ catchy track “Naive,” compliments of French producer Jean Tonique. This is definitely a great electro/dance song that you won’t want to miss. Enjoy!
Madeon is a 17 year old electropop producer from France, who has made some waves on the internet with his remixes as well as original tracks. His latest single, “Icarus” is dope electro track that will surely leave people wanting more. I sure do.
Nero teams up with Flux Pavilion for the remix of their original track “Must Be The Feeling”. Quite the banger if I do say so myself…
To celebrate the release of Shlohmo’s Vacation EP, which came with it’s own set of remixes, we also get a free remix by Teebs. The best thing about Shlohmo is his unique electro sound, which Teebs successfully lets creep through in his trippy rework.

If you’re like me and miss the earlier Deadmau5 sound, today’s your lucky day. Feed Me just released a new 6-song EP on Deadmau5’s Mou5trap label that touches on everything from dubstep to moombahton, with ‘Relocation’ bringing back memories of old Deadmau5 electro. Feed Me’s Escape from Electic Mountain is great for anyone who wants to expand their musical tastes, and can be picked up off iTunes here.
By now everyone has heard Mike Posner’s first single from his upcoming album Sky High. Well it looks like DJ Kue has caught on to the success of the dope track, and decided to add his signature upbeat style to “Looks Like Sex.” We hope to hear more Kue x Posner collaborations in the future, because when these two link up they can’t be stopped.
I’ve heard tracks from DJ Minnesota before, but it wasn’t until I heard his remix of Fenech Soler’s ‘Demons’ that I realized his potential as a producer. If you like what you hear, check out his Facebook for any missed releases. Enjoy!
I think it’s safe to say that everyone is nostalgic. Everyone wishes they were in a past era for the simple lifestyle and booming culture. In the case of Nashville duo Future Unlimited, it’s the 80’s they have an appreciation for. Their first single ‘Golden’ was just released along with a bonus song ‘When It Calls,’ and both are deeply influenced by eighties synth-pop. Although which music is considered ‘cool’ is ever-changing, the past is not so enjoy the nostalgic sounds when they are so perfected.
