Word that Frank Ocean is putting the finishing touches on his debut album also comes with this short-but-sweet track titled ‘Voodoo.’ Let’s hope the Odd Future member releases a longer version with the album because I want more.
Off The Weeknd’s concluding chapter in his 2011 trilogy Echoes of Silence, Paper Diamond’s signature electro sound provides a new spin for the track ‘Same Old Song.’ Ironic yet amazing.
The Toronto R&B phenom known as The Weeknd recently released the third album in his 2011 trilogy, titled Echoes of Silence. Original production was by Clams Casino, but I very much prefer this Sango remix. It has the perfect vibe.
With the success of his first single ‘Trouble”, singer/rapper Bei Maejor re-amps his hit track with features from the likes of Wale, J. Cole, Trey Songz, and T Pain. If you enjoyed the original then you’re in for a big treat with this remix. Give it a listen..
Here’s some unreleased material from The Weeknd when he used to do vocal work for a production team called The Noise. As usual, it’s always great to see how an artist has improved since first entering the music industry. ‘Party’ is nothing compared to his current work, but for people like me who are noticing how different today’s R&B is (I view it as rap music sung rather than spoken if that makes sense), then you should throughly enjoy this new leak. Furthermore, I’m really just using this new Weeknd joint to bring attention to his older track ‘Glass Table Girls.’ I’ve been obsessed with it lately and if you wait until the 3:25 mark, you’re life will change for the better.
The mysterious R&B artist from Toronto just released his first official music video. It follows suit with the rest of his material, meaning you will be consumed by fascination, but will have no idea what’s going on. House of Balloons is still one of the best albums of the year though.

UK producer and FRS favorite Star Slinger is at it again. This time recruiting music innovator Diplo to remix his first official single for Green Label Sound. Definitely a different direction than the original but it bumps like nothing else.
The present king of R&B decided to give us another remix in which he barely appears on. We prefer his Florence + The Machine remix better but decide for yourself.
With the official announcement being made yesterday that The Weeknd will be featured on at least four songs on Drake’s upcoming Take Care album, it seems only right to post a sick new mashup containing both of these Toronto natives. Thanks to JAYbeatz we have verses off of Drake’s recent releases ‘Make Me Proud’ and ‘The Real Her,’ combined with The Weeknd’s title track off his last mixtape Thursday. It doesn’t get more smooth than this.
The fastest rapper alive decided to add a lil’ somethin’ somethin’ to Frank Ocean’s recently released track ‘Thinking About You.’ It just so happens that Twista compliments the soulful hook by Frank Ocean better than we could have imagined, leading us to remember another Twista track called ‘Slow Jamz’. You may remember it.
